Arroyo Grande Restaurants and the Top Beach Drinks

No meal enjoyed out is complete without a nice drink to wash it down with. A whole array of drinks is available at the Arroyo Grande restaurants. Some of those include:

Pina Colada

This drink consists of coconut, pineapple and rum slurry. This drink had been there almost for 100 years before a bartender at what is now known as Oasis Bar gave it a twist with cream of coconut. Now, that signature drink is a common name across the globe. This has become a top drink by the patrons at the Pismo restaurants and thoroughly enjoyed at the beach with the winds sweeping through the hair.

 Caipirinha

The ingredients for this concoction are lime, sugar and cachaca which is a spirit developed by fermenting sugarcane juice. It had originated in Brazil and has gained popularity worldwide. There are variations available to this wherein regional, seasonal fruits are added. This is called caipifrutas. Other fruits which are often used are cashew fruit or passion fruit, kiwi or mango.

Mai-Tai

 Mai Tai

This cocktail consists of orange curacao, rum, orgeat syrup and lime. Trader Vic’s, a Polynesia-themed lounge, served this drink to a Tahitian guest and after tasting it he remarked, “maita’iro’a’ae”, which translated to “out of the world”. Thus the name of mai-tai came into existence. Elvis Presley’s movie Blue Hawaii featured this drink and since then it has become extremely popular at the Arroyo Grande restaurants.

 Daquiri

The Caribbean has an abundance of lime, rum and sugar and these became the staples for this drink. It was named after a beach located near Santiago, Cuba by a team of engineers from America (allegedly). Americans recognise this drink more in its frozen fruit-flavored state.

 Elevator Cocktail

This vodka based cocktail is a classic drink which makes the patrons extremely pleased. It tastes just as if the beach vacations have hit. Vodka gets mixed date fruits, cinnamon syrup, apple juice and rosemary. This drink has the perfect mix of spicy, sweet and sour notes and is a big hit with the patrons of Pismo restaurants.

 Red Rainbow

This is one carefully layered cocktail which wins the hearts every time. The guests at the Arroyo Grande restaurants are impressed every time this drink is served. It gets served on ice, the vodka gets poured on top of it, blue caracao and orange juice is then gently added on to it. The grenadine is then gently poured over from the sides of the glass which allows it to sip to the bottom.
